I have just recently stopped being almost a veggie, I was for 12 years except for occasional bit of cod or other nondescript fish (it couldn't look like a fish) I actually quite liked the veggie bacon, but if you overcook it, I can see the resemblence to plastic, lol. There was always this thing about the smell of bacon though, mouthwatering to say the least. So one day, about 7 years ago I guess it would be, I bought a pack of bacon, fried myself two rashers, buttered some nice crusty bread. Took a bite, and gagged. I couldn't swallow it, had to spit it out in the bin. I guess your daughter wasn't as keen as me! I have really only started back on chicken because I was so fed up with the same old boring stuff, I am a ready meal fan, hate cooking and there's only so long you can eat some sort of slop on pasta. I still can't and won't, however, eat anything with pig in it. Pigs are too much like dogs, and I can't get my head around eating one at all. Should be the same with chicken really, but hell, nobody's perfect. ;)
